Futures Academy is currently teaching 100% live online one-to-one instruction, and we are committed to reopening our campuses for Fall 2020 pending release from the California's County Monitoring List. As we approach the scheduled opening of our campuses, we will continue to monitor the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) and adhere to the highest standards recommended by these health agencies and other experts.
San Diego and Carlsbad Region campuses have been taken off the California watchlist. The counties need to remain off the watchlist for 14 consecutive days before we are able to open in a hybrid online/on-campus model. We will continue to monitor and update our families as we learn more.
Social distancing should be maintained to the best of your ability. Everyone is required to wear a face covering in all areas & at all times. If a student does not have their own face covering, one will be provided.
Until further notice, all students will complete a digital COVID-19 Daily Survey and receive a confirmation before arriving at campus.
If a student has symptoms, do not come to school.
Guided Study capacity is limited to help promote social distancing.
Capacity limits for the restrooms and other common areas will be posted along with instructions.
Maintain a six foot distance from others and tell the teacher or campus leadership (from a distance).
Campus staff will notify the parents and contact the local health department and follow recommendations.
Make the commitment to:
My son has taken foreign language courses (pre-pandemic) and has just completed Chemistry (during pandemic). All I can say is, regardless of the circumstances, the educators and administrative staff provide the most comprehensive, challenging and supportive academic environment for my son. He was engaged and motivated to put the work in to succeed. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
